Unrivalled as Africa’s greatest sporting and social event, the 6th July 2024 will again attract more than 50 000 of the country’s bold, brash and beautiful to Greyville Racecourse in Durban for the R4 million Hollywoodbets Durban July.
With 12 races on the day and the best horses in the country competing in the various events, it provides a banquet of exhilarating equine competition unrivalled in Africa. The kaleidoscope of colourful and eye stopping fashion, beautiful women and thousands of revellers enjoying themselves in the marquees and picnic sites is enhanced by the growing sense of anticipation to create an electrifying atmosphere as they line the course and the gladiators step out on parade.
The Pegasus Lounge
The Pegasus Lounge is situated on the in-field among the marquee village. Right on the edge of the track, this glass fronted marquee is built on a raised deck offering clients a premium hospitality experience. The facility also includes an open air courtyard with live entertainment as well as an outside viewing deck of the race track to fully experience the excitement of the day.

Our menu is currently being finalised and will be made available to clients once completed. Guests will be treated to a selection of delectable starters followed by a substantial buffet lunch. Following lunch, delightful desserts will accompany a cheese board and teas and coffee will be served. Once the sun has set there will be a light meal served for dinner.
Bars
Bars will be fully stocked and will be complimentary for the duration of the event from 11 am until close of the day at 10 pm, for guests’ enjoyment. This includes a full spirit offering, wines, sparkling wines, beers, soft drinks and mixers.
All bespoke bars throughout the Pegasus Lounge will be professionally managed, offering clients a truly VIP experience.
Additional premium products such as French Champagne and aged spirits will be for clients’ own accounts.
